The Timex T311T auto-set dual-alarm clock radio may be small, but it stands to play a big role in your daily life. Chiefly, it simplifies, freeing both you and anyone sharing your bed from spending any more time than necessary setting and maintaining a sleep schedule. Its unique, 1-touch alarm settings accommodate 7-, 5-, or 2-days-a-week scheduling.
Just plug it in and the clock will set itself, drawing on its factory-installed 100-year calendar (year/month/day, 2000 to 2099). The clock will even self-adjust for Daylight Savings time. The T311T's dual alarms provide individual wake times and alarm sounds so you and a partner can wake to either radio or a buzzer (if one alarm is set for radio, the other must be buzzer, and vice-versa). Like to snooze? Then you'll like the clock's large, easy-to-find snooze bar.
The clock provides convenient 1-touch station tuning, with 18 auto-setting presets: 12 for FM and 6 for AM stations. The tuner always remembers the last station selected before the radio was switched off. Fall asleep to your favorite station with the unit's programmable sleep timer (up to 90 minutes). A 4-line, backlit LCD includes a 3-position brightness control.
The clock also comes with Sure Alarm battery backup--just install 2 AAA batteries (not included) to activate the feature. In the event of a power failure, or if you disconnect the AC power cord to move the clock, the Sure Alarm system will maintain your clock and alarm settings for the life of the batteries, ensuring that the alarms will sound at the set time (while operating on battery power, the alarms will sound only as buzzer).
